The area's water tanks are the ideal location to take in a breathtaking display of birds including painted storks and spot-billed pelicans.   • Amaravati Temple: Dravidian-style architecture is seen in the construction of the Amaravati Temple, which was placed atop a little hammock called KrounchaShaila. Along with a vimana, the shrine is surrounded by four gopurams. In the temple, there is a 15-foot-tall marble Shiva Lingam that also houses the Goddess Bala Chamundika. Five lingams—Pranaveswara, Agasteswara, Kosaleswara, Someswara, and Parthiveswara—are thought to be the physical manifestations of Lord Shiva at this location. The archakas mount a pedestal platform to execute the daily rituals and abhishekam because the Shiva Lingam in this location is exceedingly tall. There is a red stain on the linga's top. A nail is reported to have been driven into the top of the lingam to stop it from continuing to grow in size. It appears that as soon as the nail was put, blood started to seep out of the Sivalinga. Even now, the stain is visible.

  • Mangalagiri: One of the eight significant Mahakshetrams, or sacred locations, in India is Mangalagiri, a temple town that can be found near Guntur, Seemandhra (Andhra Pradesh). The name Mangalagiri, which means "The Auspicious Hill," derives from the Sanskrit language. Since Lord Vishnu is thought to have emerged on the very soil of Mangalagiri and Goddess Lakshmi is said to have conducted penance on the hill's summit, Mangalagiri is of utmost significance in Indian culture.   • Buddhist Stupa: At Amaravathi is the enormous Buddhist stupa. In the year 1796, a king had intended to construct a new capital at a location known as Amareswaram. Later, etched marble and limestone slabs were used to create the surface. Numerous inscriptions were also written on the fences and gates.
