jayanti hill station

Jayanti is a small forest village, within the Buxa Tiger Reserve, located along the Jayanti River, forming a natural border with the Bhutan hills. It is one of the most famous tourist destinations of Dooars, which shares a border between India and Bhutan. It provides magnificent views of the surrounding landscape and wild fountains which makes it popular among the hikers. To reach to the Buxa Tiger Reserve, a 13 km trek from Buxaduar to Jayanti is required. Jayanti is also home to a stalactite cave known as the Mahakal cave.
