Dhuandhar Falls is a waterfall, located in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh. It is situated on Narmada River in Bhedaghat and is 30 meters high. The name of the waterfall is derived from Hindi words - Dhuan, which means smoke and Dhar means flow. As per the name, the waterfall offers a smoky atmosphere around it, the smoke is formed by water vapour. The best time to visit Dhuandhar Falls is from the month of September to March. Activities like accessing the Cable Car and Boating are available at Dhuandhar Falls. There are few places to visit near the waterfall, Chausath Yogini Temple, Sea World Water Park, Tilwara Ghat are some of them.
