About the Museum

A paradise for all automobile lovers and especially old vintage cars, the Auto World Vintage Car Museum is a one-of-a-kind museum in Ahmedabad offering visitors an exquisite collection of vintage and classic cars, motorcycles, and carts of different brands from all around the world. The museum was founded by the vintage car enthusiast Shri Pranlal Bhogilal Patel and visitors can get an opportunity to witness an assemblage of cars such as Rolls Royce, Lagonda, Bentley, Cadillac, Jaguar, Austin, Mercedes, and Auburn. Shri PranlalBhogilal’s stunning vintage vehicle collection has been listed on the Guinness Book of World Records.

Visitors would be delighted to see the valuable collection of cars from the 1906 Minerva to 1954 Ford and over three-hundred other cars are displayed on the gallery built by famous builders such as Hopper, Barker, Gurney-Nutting, Fleetwood, and Lebaron. From the mechanical extravaganza menu of over 300 diverse range of cars, some of them stand out such as the 1923 Rolls 20 HP with a shooting-break body by Barker, Lancia Lambda and Dilambda cars that are known for their load-bearing capacity, the 1927 Phantom I with a boat tail roadster body, and the 1926 Rolls Royce Phantom I that is painted in tricolor and is named as Azad by Shri Bhogilal. The museum aims to provide insight into the vintage vehicle aficionados and showcases cars of the era when owning a car was a status symbol. Other renowned classic brands that are showcased here are Maybach, Cadillacs, Lincolns, Packards, and Mercedes.

Rolls Royce lovers can see an impressive collection of Roll Royce such as 1936 Phantom III, 1937 Phantom III, 1949 Rolls Royce, 1923 Silver Ghost, and Phantom I 1927 with a limousine body. Another important car of the 1930s with an unusual color combination is the Chrysler Imperial Airflow while some others that stand out are 1914 Minerva, 1911 Daimler, 1906 Mors, 1910 Ford Motel T, 1926 Lagonda 2 Liter, 1931 Auburn, 1934 Bentley, 1952 Bentley Mark VI, 1931 Buick Tourer, 1935 Buick Eight, 1947Buick Eight Super, and many other. The museum also has sports cars such as 1937 AC, 1931 MG Magna, 1937 Riley Sprite Sports, and 1946 Sunbeam Talbot. The display also has horse-drawn carriages, boat-tailed Wooden Speedsters, and Shooting-Break Cars. Visitors can enjoy hot tea or coffee in the cafeteria while enjoying the stunning view of the vintage cars and there is also a separate station for driving the vintage cars along with a play area with a toy train for children. A visit to this informative yet fascinating museum is worth every penny to gain insight and appreciate the impressive collection of classic cars.
