  • Lord Jagannath Temple : The Pondi Jagannath Temple, built by the Utkal Society of Koriya District, is one of the most beautiful temples in the area. This temple was designed with Odisha's Jagannath Mandir in mind. The temple complex is large, with several minor temples inside; they are all made of white marble and have a distinct sheen. The best time to visit is during the Rath festival, which occurs in September or later. The main attraction of this temple during this time is the towing of the carts, also known as raths, with Lord Jagannath inside.

Stations such as Chirmiri Railway Station and Surajpur Railway Station are nearby; however they do not link to larger cities, only Raipur and Ambikapur.
